Loyola University Medical Center is a quaternary-care system. It is home to more than 50 residency and fellowship programs for a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
Reed Construction completed a multi-faceted renovation of LUMC’s Linear Accelerator, Dialysis Center, and CT Rooms and Control areas. For the Linear Accelerator, renovation of existing vault and control rooms, as well as installation of new Varian True Beam LinAc was included. The Dialysis Center consisted of a renovation/expansion with an entirely new mechanical infrastructure, all new medical gas and plumbing, and new head wall units. In addition to the LA and Dialysis Center, the CT Room and Control Areas were renovated to incorporate decorative millwork to conceal equipment calibration lasers for creating a more comfortable environment for patients.
