Reed Construction foundation

Our mission is to build a stronger community through enriched access to education and quality healthcare.

Since our inception in 2014, the Foundation has donated over $1.6 million to organizations that are near and dear to the hearts of our employees, clients, trade partners, and community.

In tandem with the Foundation, Reed Construction encourages employees to give back in their own ways with our Charitable Time Off program. Some have used this time to give back as a team or department, others use their day to serve nonprofits of their choice.

Books for a better life

Reed Construction Foundation is a proud sponsor of Bernie’s Book Bank. Our team has participated in multiple volunteer events in addition to hosting internal book drives.

Bernie’s Book Bank sources, processes and distributes quality children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among at-risk infants, toddlers and school-age children throughout Chicagoland.

Project H.O.O.D’s mission is to end senseless violence, end recidivism, and build communities, one neighborhood at a time. Their programming equips youth, adults, and families with the resources, skills, tools, and experiences that are needed to be successful, healthy, and upwardly mobile members of society.

Reed recently partnered with Project H.O.O.D. to sponsor their construction program, which is focused on successfully training local residents with a desire to pursue careers in construction.
