Reed Construction (“Reed”) recently completed interior construction of a 27,000-square-foot spec suite project at the Aon Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The stunning project featured a radial curve of open office cubes, private offices, conference rooms and a lounge area with a bar and electric fireplace. The spec suite also showcased unique, modern finishes such as a imported Italian tile, a custom pivot door, intricate light fixtures and custom wallcoverings.
“It was an honor to work with Aon, JLL, Telos and Perkins & Will on this amazing project. The collaboration and communication across the team was crucial to the success of this project,” said Jay Zimmerman, Senior Project Manager at Reed Construction.
Building coordination was crucial to the success of this project. The tenant elevator remained open during the duration of the project and our team ensured that elevator cleanliness and safety were a top priority.
Reed worked in collaboration with JLL, The Telos Group LLC and Perkins & Will to complete this project in February 2020.
