Who We Are

Since 1893, collaboration and innovation have been in our DNA. It’s why we have been in business for over 127 years and it continues to influence the way we work on our projects. Building is our idea of fun, and we can’t wait to show you how we will take your vision and turn it into a reality.

We live every day by our company core values: Communicate, Collaborate, Innovate, and Elevate. We believe these values are the cornerstone characteristics to a great project and a successful relationship with our clients.

Where We Began

Reed Construction was established by Thomas Reed in 1893, the year of the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Since our inception, we have provided owners, developers and facility managers with high-quality construction solutions.

Today our firm, led by fifth generation President and CEO William T. Birck, is a full-service construction firm with extensive expertise in general contracting and design-build. Reed Construction remains committed to our original core values, which are best exemplified by our steadfast dedication to quality workmanship, professional management and ethical conduct.
