Upon relocating in the Chicago area, this global consulting firm selected Reed Construction to complete the renovations for their new 42,000 SF office space. Wishing to maximize reused conditions and adjacencies of groups and meeting areas, the team devised a plan to create an open office environment with direction from the client that remained mindful of budgetary constraints. Project details include shared workstations and offices, conference areas, and glass Maars Walls from the Netherlands to create transparency throughout. The building’s existing raised flooring system created ease when working with the client, allowing the movement of power feeds and optimum air distribution. Additionally, Reed provided finish upgrades to existing restrooms, creating a new and polished look throughout.
