Project Manager




Manage projects from start to finish ensuring completion on time and within budget. Keep eyes and ears on every aspect of the project including, scheduling, timelines, costs and client service.

Work closely with the project team including architects, clients, landlords and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on time, within budget and to the high degree of quality that Reed Construction is known for. He or she will be expected to demonstrate strong organizational, communication and leadership capabilities to successfully perform the required duties and responsibilities, which include (but are not limited to):


  • Represent and cultivate Reed’s values; uphold business ethics and demonstrate professional judgement
  • Manage project life cycle including subcontractor negotiations and buyout, project scheduling, material procurement, RFI’s, pencil draws, change order management and project close out
  • Display a thorough understanding of project specifications, including site drawings, agenda, on-site procedures and potential code violations to properly bid and manage the project
  • Conduct meetings with clients, architects and other partners to provide project updates; engage in team collaboration and communication with the Superintendent to proactively resolve any on-site issues keeping the project on track
  • Generate detailed and accurate conceptual budgets from space plans, and/or renderings and/or scope notes
  • Serve as the point of contact for project management staff, subcontractors, building owners and managers, building engineers, architects and more
  • Abide by guidelines in Reed’s safety manual and regularly attend seminars on a variety of safety-related topics
  • Maintain good relations and communication with everyone involved in a project; conduct oneself in a courteous and professional manner at all times


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience, preferably corporate/commercial interiors
  • Committed to producing high-quality work
  • Punctual and respectful of others’ time
  • Goal-oriented – ability to react quickly to changing circumstances and still achieve the desired end results
  • Proactively looks for potential job site issues and addresses any problems promptly and professionally
  • Calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations
  • Organized with keen attention to detail; strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong understanding of project cost analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to produce thorough documentation of each project
  • Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Salesforce, Microsoft Project)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Project Engineer


DEPARTMENT: Interiors/Healthcare


We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team! You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the organizational system for maintenance of project documentation, including drawings, sketches, and RFI’s.


  • Conduct project estimates; perform quantity takeoffs
  • Evaluate bids and recommend contract awards
  • Solicit vendors for pricing, perform follow-up calls chasing bids
  • Maintain various information logs
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously all at various stages and locations


  • Degree in engineering or construction management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors and contractors
  • Keen analytical detail and problem-solving skills
