Garrett Brands is the family-owned business behind Garrett Popcorn, a Chicago staple and attraction. In 2014, Reed Construction was selected by Garrett Brands and Jones Lang LaSalle to complete a build-out for the corporation’s new headquarters located on the 24th floor of the Equitable Building in Chicago. The dynamic new office space features use of reclaimed wood in the reception area, an expansive employee break room and a new board room with state-of-the-art technology. The workspace areas feature open ceilings, unique lighting details and patterned carpet tile to replicate the famous stripes on a Garrett Popcorn tin. The space also features a “kernel” shaped group of meeting rooms finished in copper-colored Liquapearl paint.
"The entire Garrett team is delighted with the new space and the quality of the work shines. Most importantly, the Reed Team is comprised of good, conscientious, caring individuals who made this entire complex project a smooth and fun process."
