SVM Cards was founded in 1997 and handles sales, marketing and distribution of retail gift cards, e-gift cards and fuel cards.
Formerly located in Des Plaines, Illinois, SVM recently relocated their headquarters to the newly purchased building in Arlington Heights. We were selected by the firm to complete an extensive build-out, which included a mix of office space and light manufacturing. The project included construction of private offices and meeting rooms with sliding barn doors, a cafeteria, a small fitness center with new bathrooms and showers, a game room for ping pong and shuffleboard, a processing area for new cards and a secure storage fault.

The finished space features high bay ceilings in the common areas and new interior glazing. The highlight of the space is a steel mezzanine conference room suspended from existing crane rails that overlooks the open office floor plan. In addition to the build-out Reed also performed extensive infrastructure improvements to the exterior of the building, including a large parking area, stairs and ramps leading to the entrance and an outdoor seating area for employees.

Bryan Kreuger led the project team for Reed as principal and Dan Cohen was project manager. Dan Glombicki was the project superintendent. Architectural services were provided by Wefing Design Studio.
