Project Description

The Metropolitan Planning Council is a group of business and civic leaders committed to promotion and implementation of sensible planning and development policies in the Chicago region. Reed was selected to complete an 11,700 square foot build-out, including a complete renovation of the space leased by the non-profit organization that is located within Chicago’s historic Marquette Building. The project included addition of a 100-person meeting/board room as well as executive offices. The open floor plan features glass enclosed offices, reclaimed barn wood ceilings and paneling, glazed movable partitions and recycled glass counter tops. This project earned a Gold LEED Certification. As consumer demands continue to develop and expand, Reed Construction works diligently to keep up with the best innovations in green construction by continually training our staff and employing several LEED Accredited Professionals.
